National Bulk Water Metering and Monitoring System – Second Milestone

Spacia Systems and United Enterprise Company jointly led the second milestone conference for the "National Bulk Water Metering and Monitoring System" project. This event, organized in collaboration with the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) and USAID, saw the participation of organizations within the water industry, including Miyahuna, Yarmouk Water, Aqaba Water, and the Jordan Valley Authority, with CDM Smith serving as the project consultants. The purpose of the project, which is a part of a USAID fund under FARA 5 – Phase III, is to support the water sector to reduce Non-Revenue Water (NRW) in the service areas of the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ), Jordan Valley Authority (JVA), Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna), Yarmouk Water Company (YWC), and Aqaba Water (AW), and provide management tools to better utilize available water resources, apply real-time monitoring of bulk water supply, improve data collection and reliability, and provide the tool for evidence-based decision-making.

Supply of Leak Detection Equipment

Spacia Systems signed a contract with Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) for the implementation of a significant project titled "Supply of Leak Detection Equipment." This venture encompasses the provision of cutting-edge technologies including Ground Microphones, Ultrasonic Flow Meters, and Acoustic Loggers. The partnership between Spacia Systems and Kahramaa underscores a commitment to innovation and excellence in addressing crucial infrastructure needs. Through this endeavor, both entities aim to contribute to the enhancement of leak detection capabilities, ensuring the efficiency and sustainability of water management systems.

KAHRAMAA BCU & SCS Refurbishment At Various Km Primary Stations

Spacia Systems has once again partnered with the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) to carry out an important project named "Supply and Installation of Bay Controller Units, DCS Equipment, UPS, and SCS Training." This project covers a range of substation automation tasks, including the purchase and installation of Bay Controller Units (BCUs) and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) equipment, as well as the installation, testing, and commissioning of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). Additionally, Spacia Systems will offer specialized training on the Supervisory Control System (SCS) to guarantee smooth integration and operation of the newly installed systems. This collaboration between Spacia Systems and Kahramaa demonstrates their mutual dedication to improving technological infrastructure and increasing operational efficiency in the energy sector.

Interfacing of RPSs With SCADA KAHRAMAA

Spacia Systems announced its collaboration with the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) to execute the project “RPS Signals Integration with NWCC SCADA.” The project’s scope includes connecting Remote Power System (RPS) signals to the NWCC Central SCADA system. This involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of new Remote Terminal Units (RTU) at various sites. To ensure the system runs more reliably, backup power with dual battery banks will be installed at each site. Furthermore, the scope includes the deployment of IBM Maximo Software for asset management.
